The interesting thing is that, even after the huge initial wave of discussion died down, the petition has continued to steadily grow, with several new sigs coming in every day.

20K+ people signing the petition, with over 2 million copies sold, means the petition got ~10% of signatures of all owners. Since the release was now over a year ago, my guess is that Metallica don't care and won't change a damn thing.

It's sad really.

Hopefully, as they show no sign of fixing this album, they will prevent further albums from being damaged like this. But I doubt it since they don't seem to have listened.

Metallica will not change it... ever and since this album sold 2 000 000 I expect the next album to have the same problems :/

One thing is for sure, I'll never buy one more of their album or go to their shows. They make me sick with their greediness
