Atheist - Elements (1993) Original Master

What an awful mastering job. There is distortion at some parts.
the Relapse records 2005 remaster tried to give some headroom back but the eqing on that version is awful. Can someone give this album some justice?

I don't know what is up with this album! :o After the quality mastering of Atheist's earlier albums Piece of Time (1989) and Unquestionable Presence (1991), I had expected for nothing to be wrong with this release. It sucks to see such vibrant jazz metal get such poor treatment. I'm curious to see what you can do with this recording, JNive. Thank you for checking it out. :)

BTW which version are you planning to work with? The original 1993 master or the 2005 remaster? The 2005 master has an awful eq job, its too dark and lacks sufficient treble.
